Organic Photovoltaic (OPV) technology company ASCA announced that it will showcase its innovative OPV solutions at BAU, to be held in Germany this April.

ASCA offers tailor-made solutions for its customers. Its OPV materials can be made in a wide range of colors with different degrees of transparency, combined with glass, polycarbonate, ETFE or textile, as well as in different shapes, offering great adaptability and flexibility.

ASCA’s OPV technology not only offers a high degree of design freedom, but can also be laminated into building elements suitable for building facades, balustrades or shading systems without compromising the aesthetics.

Because ASCA’s OPV-based BIPV solutions are 100% recyclable and manufactured without the use of rare earth materials, they provide solar energy to buildings in a decentralized manner while contributing to decarbonization.

At the BAU trade show, ASCA will also be showing some of its integration capabilities and showcasing its recent projects, including the unique solar media façade of the Novartis pavilion in Basel, Switzerland and the record-breaking solar facade of the new administration building of Stadtwerke Gronau in western Münsterland.

BUILDING is the world’s leading trade fair for architecture, materials and systems. This year it will take place from April 17th to 22nd in Munich. ASCA will be exhibiting at the Munich Exhibition Center in Hall B2 in the Energy/Building Systems/Solar Technology section at Stand 529.
