Denowatts announced DNV’s independent technical review competition and the launch of its 4thth generation of digital technology, the Deno Digital Twin Benchmarking (DTB).
The DTB technology uses wireless and self-powered sensors to optimize performance measurement. The sensors measure irradiance and temperature and calculate expected performance benchmarks to provide faster, more accurate and more efficient performance analysis. Its smaller and simpler design allows the device to be used in multiple locations within PV arrays or in locations where typical weather stations are not feasible.

The technology has been evaluated by DNV and accredited to the ISO/IEC 17025 standard for capacity testing, giving customers and stakeholders confidence that the solution has the technical expertise and management systems in place to perform accurate and reliable capacity testing.
It is expected to enhance power management capabilities and be viewed as a value-added service that will benefit various solar participants, including independent power producers, solar system owners and power engineers.
“DNV’s review provides a solid independent assessment of how our technology is paving the way for the solar industry to reach new heights using advanced digital technology,” said Dan Leary, CEO and Founder of Denowatts.
Denowatts will be hosting a webinar on May 4th to go into more detail about this technology and the technical review.
