NEOM Green Hydrogen Company (NGHC) announced the signing of facility agreements with local, regional and international banks and a letter of commitment with the Saudi Industrial Development Fund (SIDF) to build the world’s largest green hydrogen facility.
The NEOM based The mega-plant will integrate up to 4 GW of solar and wind power to power the production of up to 1.2 million tons of green ammonia per year, equivalent to about 600 tons of carbon-free hydrogen per day. Upon completion by 2026, all green hydrogen production will be delivered in the form of ammonia under an exclusive long-term agreement with Air Products for global export.
As an equal joint venture formed by ACWA Power (renewable energy expert), Air Products (the world’s largest hydrogen producer) and the pioneering NEOM sustainable living initiative, “NGHC has a clear mission: to share the expertise and vision of its partners use to accelerate the global eco-hydrogen economy.
