Vivint Smart Home has introduced a new feature for its Vivint Smart Energy customers to view solar production data from their solar systems directly in the Vivint app, including data on how much energy their panels are producing, insights into how well their energy production is performing, their potential Savings compared to using energy from the grid and what kind of environmental impact their system has.
“Smart energy has been a key area of focus for us over the past few years as we seek to expand our industry-leading smart home experience for our customers,” said Evan Pack, senior vice president of energy at Vivint.
This new integration is another step in making homes smarter and empowering our customers with the data they need to make smarter use of their energy. We’re excited to bring this new feature to customers and look forward to adding more features in the future.
The feature will be available to existing Vivint customers with an Enphase inverter and customers with SolarEdge inverters installed by Freedom Forever, and there are plans to expand it to more customers in the near future.
Customers will see their solar data in the Vivint app in the coming days.
