Trina Solar, Tier 1 solar panel manufacturer, recently signed a three-year framework agreement to supply at least 1 GW of its solar panels to several European solar projects developed by global renewable energy company Low Carbon.
Under the terms of the agreement, Trina Solar will supply its next-generation Vertex N 605W and Vertex 670W+ modules for the first project.

Vertex N 605W series is a bifacial product line based on 210mm N-type i-TOPCon cell technology with high efficiency and low degradation. This series has a maximum output of 605W and is highly compatible with solar trackers, making utility-scale solar projects more feasible in the most complex terrains.
The Vertex 670W+ series can deliver higher energy output with a maximum efficiency of 21.6%. This series also adopts 210mm cell technology and bifacial design and has good low-light performance. It’s also a versatile option for upcoming Low Carbon projects.
The agreement with Trina Solar provides predictability for Low Carbon’s project pipelines and will help accelerate the award process for future contracts.
“The agreement marks an important milestone for us in expanding our international renewable energy portfolio. Their high bankability and ability to commit to high upfront supply volumes made Trina Solar a natural choice,” Justin Thesiger, Director of Operations & Asset Management at Low Carbon.
