Mr. Jurabek Mirzamakhmudov, Minister of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and a delegation of representatives from the Ministry of Energy, regional mayor’s offices and sub-organizations recently visited JinkoSolar’s Jianshan digitalized smart factory in the city of Haining, China.
During the visit, the minister and his delegation learned about JinkoSolar’s production of TOPCon high-efficiency solar modules, as well as the latest developments and innovative solutions in the solar sector.

The visit was also seen as part of the Mirziyoyev government’s efforts to facilitate the energy transition through solar energy.
As a populous country in Central Asia, Uzbekistan has enormous potential for renewable energy development. The government is implementing an ambitious renewable energy strategy to provide up to 8 GW of solar capacity over the next 3-4 years to meet the country’s increasing energy demand. Additionally, Energy Storage Systems (ESS) will play a crucial role in supporting Uzbekistan’s grid reliability and resilience.
JinkoSolar’s Jianshan factory and demonstration center are excellent examples of how the company’s potential for research and development, automation and digitized manufacturing processes can be realised. The factory is set to become another leading R&D and manufacturing center for the latest ESS technologies.
“It is a great honor to have the opportunity to present JinkoSolar’s global experience to the Minister-led delegation and to discuss further options for the rapid transition to green energy, taking into account Uzbekistan’s firm policy of increasing the use of renewable energy sources ” said Kangping Chen, CEO of JinkoSolar.
